The whole delivery chain only took a few seconds (don't have an exact number at the moment)...

In addition, the "Resent From: " header is pretty good evidence that his Georgetown account was set to automatically forward to his Gmail account.

This from an annoyed Gmail user (here):

"Now that the emails are forwarding to my gmail account, though, I have a big old ugly "Resent-From" field (with my name in it) at the top of every header! This is super annoying, is there any way to turn this off?"

It also makes sense that if the email was sent from who it was purportedly sent from that he could have found the Georgetown email fairly easily - the Gmail account, not so much.
